Privacy Policy

ReadPalm AI ("we", "us") is a palmistry app for entertainment. This policy explains what we collect, how your palm photo and readings are handled, and how to delete your account and data.

What we collect

  • Account. Your email address, optional name, and the identifier from your sign-in provider (Apple or Google). We use passwordless sign-in (Apple, Google, or an email one-time code) — we never store a password.
  • Palm photo. The photo of your hand you submit for a reading.
  • Readings. The text of the readings the app generates for you (your Palm Blueprint, daily cards, and compatibility readings).
  • Subscription status. Whether you have an active subscription, managed through Apple and RevenueCat. We do not see or store your payment-card details — Apple handles billing.
  • Preferences. Optional details you set, such as focus area, reminder time, and timezone.
  • Usage & diagnostics. Product analytics and crash reports — which may be linked to your account or device — to fix bugs and improve the app.

Your palm photo is processed, not stored

When you take a reading, your photo is sent once to our AI provider to generate the reading, and is discarded in the same request. We do not keep the original photo on our servers. If you choose to save a reading, we may keep a small stylized thumbnail — never the original image.

How AI processes your data

Readings are generated by Anthropic's Claude models. Your palm photo and any context you provide are sent to Anthropic to produce the reading and are not used by us to identify you. Daily and compatibility readings are generated from your stored Palm Blueprint (text), not from a new photo.

Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary with service providers that run the app:

  • Anthropic — generates readings from your photo/Blueprint.
  • RevenueCat & Apple — process and verify your subscription.
  • Apple / Google — verify your sign-in.
  • Resend — sends sign-in emails.
  • PostHog (analytics) and Sentry (crash reporting) — anonymous diagnostics.

We do not sell your personal data.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app. When you do, we immediately remove your sign-in credentials and personal information (email, name) and ask Apple to revoke your Sign in with Apple session. Your remaining app data — your Palm Blueprint, readings, compatibility results, preferences, and subscription record — is retained for up to 30 days to allow recovery from an accidental or unauthorized deletion, after which it is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Your subscription is managed by Apple — cancel it in your App Store settings to stop being charged.

Data rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. The in-app delete path above fulfills deletion; for any other request, contact us.

Children

ReadPalm AI is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 17 and older.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
